Just up from the Mediterranean coastal town of Imperia our house ‘La Casa nel Bosco’ is nestled in woodland at the foot of Mount Faudo. The setting gives a feeling of tranquility yet it is not remote. The seafront of Porto Maurizio is only a 15 minute drive away. Here you can buy fish caught the same morning or just have a coffee in one of the many café bars. The area is picturesque and is ideal for those who just want to ‘get away from it all’ and relax. There are beautiful country walks with breathtaking views over the valleys. Alternatively there is the hustle and bustle of San Remo with its renowned Casino 30 minutes away or the sophistication of Nice or Genova just over an hour away.

There are plenty of local beaches to choose from and all cater for both adults and children. Most have a pizzeria where you can take a snack or alternatively take a picnic.

The apartment we rent is completely self contained and is furnished to a high standard. All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. I have endeavored to make the apartment as comfortable as possible with plenty of ‘little extras’ to make our guests feel ‘at home’.
